Mr Chris Wei is the Global Chairman for Aviva Digital and Executive Chairman for Aviva Asia.

He leads Aviva’s global drive in digital, and has transformed the 321-year-old insurer into a leading InsurTech disruptor. Chris also manages Aviva’s operations across Asia, and is actively driving forward initiatives that have significant implications for the business, customers, employees and other key stakeholders across the region.

Before joining Aviva in 2014, Chris was the Group CEO of Great Eastern Holdings, and was responsible for successfully growing the company’s business and further entrenching its leadership position in its home markets of Singapore and Malaysia.

Prior to this, Chris was AIA’s Group Chief Marketing Officer, CEO of AIG United Guaranty Insurance (Asia), as well as having held various executive positions at ING Canada and Allstate Insurance.

Chris graduated from the University of Toronto majoring in actuarial science, and is currently the Chairman of the International Insurance Society’s Executive Council.

Dr Michael Fung is the Deputy Chief Executive (Industry), Chief Human Resource Officer and Chief Data Officer at SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), a statutory board under the Ministry of Education. He oversees the development of the continuing education and training system in Singapore, through managing funding and contractual partnerships with private training providers, institutes of higher learning, and enterprises. He also oversees the human resource function, and champions the data capabilities, governance, and reporting practices at SSG. Michael is an adjunct Senior Fellow at Singapore University of Technology and Design.

He is Founding President of the Higher Education Planning in Asia Association, and serves on various boards and committees, including IPOS International Board of Governors, and Institute of Banking and Finance Council. He is an alumnus of the University of Southern California and Carnegie Mellon University in the US, and Tsinghua University in China.

Mr Jason Lee founded La Parfumerie, a local perfumery, in 2014. As founder and CEO, Jason is responsible for the product development, marketing, sales and technology.

Prior to founding La Parfumerie, Jason spent 4 years in Givaudan, the leading fragrance house in the world where he developed his passion for fragrances and learnt about olfactory art and science.

Besides having a retail presence in Singapore, Jason was instrumental in driving La Parfumerie focus on commercial scent marketing, customising fragrances for Fullerton Hotel, Singapore Airlines, Funan, Resorts World Sentosa, to name just a few.

He also oversees the human resource function, and champions the data capabilities, governance, and reporting practices at SSG. He previously led the strategic policy and resource planning functions at SSG and the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.

Michael is an adjunct Senior Fellow at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, and was a Senior Advisor to the Office of the President at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He formerly held the position of Director of Planning and Institutional Research at HKUST, and provided leadership and support for the University’s strategic and academic planning, decision-making, resource allocation, and assessment of institutional effectiveness. He also led the University’s participation in international rankings, and was an advisor to several leading international ranking bodies.

He was previously the Director of Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance at the Singapore Management University (SMU), a Deputy Director at the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and held various senior positions at the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and the National Computer Board (NCB) of Singapore.

He is the Founding President of the Higher Education Planning in Asia Association, and serves on a number of boards and committees, including the on the Carnegie Mellon University Admissions Council, Singapore Manufacturing Federation’s Precision Engineering Certification Board as Co-Chairman, the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Social Service Tripartite Taskforce, the Institute of Adult Learning’s Academic Quality Committee, and IPOS International’s Board of Governors.

He is an alumnus of the University of Southern California and Carnegie Mellon University in the US, and Tsinghua University in China.

He also sits on various MOH task forces and advisory committee involving in the strategic planning of medical informatics programs. He is also a member of the National Telemedicine Advisory Committee (NTAC). Currently, he also sits in Singapore Medical Council (SMC) Disciplinary Tribunal.

Alan has a background in business strategy and analytics, and has led organisations through their digital transformations. He started his career with Accenture and was part of the pioneering team that started digital consulting services. He relocated to China in 2010 and as the Managing Director of the Accenture Interactive, drove the setup and growth of this digital unit. Alan joined the Alibaba Group in 2016 where he took on management roles in marketplace strategy and platform governance across Taobao and TMall. In 2018, as part of the company’s globalisation strategy, Alan relocated back to Singapore to support the growth and sustainability of Lazada‘s business.

Outside of work, Alan engages actively in university collaborations and serves on the ex-officio boards of several Asian startups. He received his Bachelor degree in Economics and Statistics from the National University of Singapore.

Mr Yeong Zee Kin is Assistant Chief Executive (Data Innovation and Protection Group) of the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) and Deputy Commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).

In his capacity as Assistant Chief Executive (Data Innovation and Protection Group), Zee Kin oversees IMDA’s Artificial Intelligence and Data Industry development strategy. This is one of four frontier technology areas IMDA has identified for its transformational potential for a Digital Economy. The other three are cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, and immersive media. In his role as an AI and data analytics champion, Zee Kin’s work includes developing forward-thinking governance on AI and data, driving a pipeline of AI talent, promoting industry adoption of AI and data analytics, as well as building specific AI and data science capabilities in Singapore.

In his capacity as Assistant Chief Executive (Data Innovation and Protection Group), Zee Kin oversees IMDA’s Artificial Intelligence and Data Industry development strategy. This is one of four frontier technology areas IMDA has identified for its transformational potential for a Digital Economy. The other three are cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, and immersive media. In his role as an AI and data analytics champion, Zee Kin’s work includes developing forward-thinking governance on AI and data, driving a pipeline of AI talent, promoting industry adoption of AI and data analytics, as well as building specific AI and data science capabilities in Singapore.

As the Deputy Commissioner of PDPC, Zee Kin oversees the administering and enforcement of the Personal Data Protection Act (2012). Working within financial services, fintech, payments and consumer healthcare industries, Winston serves clients across ASEAN, and in several North Asian, South Asian and European markets. With over 30 years of deep domain experience, CrimsonLogic has developed products for cross border trade (Single Window, Customs Management Systems), eJudiciary and business licensing. To date, the company has 19 offices worldwide and have undertaken over 60 projects in 40 countries.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic in 2013, Ken worked in Microsoft for nearly 16 years with his last appointment as the Vice President for Public Sector (Asia). Ken started his IT career with the National Computer Board (NCB) in 1983 and his last appointment was Assistant Chief Executive (Industry).

Ken is currently a member of the Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) Board. He is also the Chair of the Advisory Committee for the School of Infocomm Technology in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. He is a council member of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF).
